Winery Rental

Whether birthday, anniversary or just a great day with friends, you can book the winery for that special event.  We take bookings of up to 30 people for a stand up reception/gala from May to September.  We have a beautiful but cosy indoor space comprising our tasting room and barrel room:  keeping it to 30 means we can provide a lovely setting for you rain or shine.  In nice weather you can enjoy the outdoors until 8.00 p.m. in summer – we’ve lots of seating on our grass patios overlooking the vineyard – a great way to finish the day.    Bring in a caterer for your special event or keep it casual and bring in your own appetizers.  We provide the wine, glasses and bartender – you provide the celebration.    Email us (see our contact page) to let us know what you have in mind!

Chutney, jams and wine jellies

We grow pippins for our Curried Pippin Chutney, and Wild Blackberry Pippin Chutney – fabulous with a sharp cheese like Natural Pastures Aged Cheddar.  Try our Rhubarb Sour Cherry Chutney from our own cherries and rhubarb.  Great with cheeses but also spicy sausage, and especially duck.  We make 7 kinds of wine jelly (Ortega, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir Rose, Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir Star Anise, and Wild Blackberry Spiced Millot) and Quince jelly from the orchard at Brambleside vineyard.    These small jars of jellies make a great hostess gift, are great for dressing up a cheese board, a condiment for bbq’d meat, or an addition to a reduction of pan juices to brighten up the flavors!  Enjoy at lunch or buy them in our wine shop to take home. All made in our VIHA approved farm kitchen.

Besides wine grapes, we grow apples, cherries, rhubarb, loganberries and blackberries. We also buy from these local farms!
