Enjoy a “local lunch”

From May to September our deli is filled with wonderful cheeses, charcuterie, wild salmon patés, smoked salmon, humus, tapenade and fresh baguettes: all locally made and perfect for lunch!  Grab a picnic basket at the winery door, then a selection from our self serve deli and create your own platters.  Plates, platters, cutlery, serviettes, and serving bowls provided.   Ask us for some samples of our wines jellies for lunch – they go great with cheese and charcuterie!   Birthday cakes (yes!) and special needs please ask us otherwise please do not bring in your own picnic items.  Start at the bar to taste and then enjoy lunch with a chilled bottle with friends on our beautiful grass patios overlooking the vineyard – a great place for conversation!

Chutney, jams and wine jellies

We grow pippins for our Curried Pippin Chutney – fabulous with a sharp cheese like Natural Pastures Aged Cheddar.  Try our Rhubarb Sour Cherry Toasted Black Mustard Chutney from our own cherries and rhubarb.  Great with cheeses but also spicy sausage, and especially duck.  We make 8 kinds of wine jelly (Ortega, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir Rose, Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir Star Anise, Foch and Spiced Millot) and Quince jelly from the orchard at Brambleside vineyard.    These small jars of jellies make a great hostess gift, are great for dressing up a cheese board, a condiment for bbq’d meat, or an addition to a reduction of pan juices to brighten up the flavors!  Enjoy at lunch or buy them in our wine shop to take home. All made in our VIHA approved farm kitchen.

Besides wine grapes, we grow apples, cherries, rhubarb, loganberries and blackberries. We also buy from these local farms!
